60s folk rock band, The Lovin’ Spoonful, to perform greatest hits at Palace Theatre

Lovin SpoonfulConcert-goers will have the opportunity to take a fun-filled trip back to the carefree days of AM radio and see the legendary 60s Folk-Rock band, THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL perform live at the historic Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, October 14 at 8pm.

With a historic sound that became known as “Good Time Music” to masses of concert loving fans in the late 60s, THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL recorded 8 top selling albums and produced some of the most iconic songs of the era including “Summer In The City,” “You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice,” “Nashville Cats,” “Do You Believe In Magic?,” and “Daydream.”

With members from the original lineup – singer Joe Butler, bass player Steve Boone, and early band member – guitarist Jerry Yester, the group will take the Palace stage to perform their greatest hits.

Tickets for THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL are $20, $25, $30 and seating is reserved. Stay after the show for a SPOONFUL OF GOODNESS ice cream sundae bar with all the toppings in the May Pavilion.
