Donald C. “Don’ Bushatz age 86 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born on February 21, 1928, in Waverly, to the late Charles W. and Mary O. (Ford) Bushatz.
On January 2, 1952, in Muncie, Indiana, he married the late Yvonne Lee (Sue) Bushatz and they were married for 55 years and resided in Marion their entire married lives.
Don was a retired auto mechanic and helped Sue with her catering business. He enjoyed baseball games and car races, but most of all enjoyed his family and friends.
He is survived by one son, James L. Bushatz and special friend, Sheryl Bates of Marion; one daughter, D. Ann (James) Riley of Pickerington; a granddaughter, Tera L. (Mathew) Pritchard of Chagrin Falls, OH, a grandson, Jesse E. Riley of Woodstock, GA.; and two great granddaughters, Annabelle Lynn and Madelynn Sue Pritchard of Chagrin Falls, OH.
He was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Lee (Sue) Bushatz, and a grandson, Andrew James Riley. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens in Marion. No calling hours will be observed. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are handling the arrangements.
