Celia B. “Betty” Ludwig age 88 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Sterling House of Marion.
She was born March 8, 1926 in Lockborne, Ohio to the late John and Lacy (Hinson) Morehart, she was one of ten children.
On November 2, 1946 in Greenup, Ky. she married Edward W. Ludwig, he preceded her in death on October 25, 2007.
Betty was formerly employed at SS Kresege, Welles Department Store Manager of Fabric Department and Weavers IGA in Mt. Gilead.
She is survived by her four daughters, Bonnie (Mike) Lodge of Marion, Gloria (Clarence) Host of Florida, Christina (Lonnie Butler) Basford of Marion, Glenna (John) Bently Jr. of Marion, her brother, Harold Morhart of Nashville, TN., six grandchildren, Amy (Edward) Seibert, William (Erin) Murphy, Jason (Holly) Host, Michael Host, Amanda (Jeff) Gibson, Justin (Kristine) Bently and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by four grandchildren, Bryan Murphy, Jonathan Host, Christopher Host, Eddie Parmer and a great grandson, Eddie Parmer Jr.
The Family would like to thank the staff at the Sterling House of Marion for their love and excellent care for the past four years.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 from 11 – 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor David Blower officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
