Laszlo “Les” Korodi, age 89, of Conway, S.C. died Saturday May 30, 2015 at Brightwater, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He was born April 16, 1926 in Budapest, Hungary. He came to the United States as of January 7, 1957 and became a Naturalized Citizen on September 17, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Ann DeLauder whom he married on July 26, 1976. He is also survived by daughters, Margrit Rocsa of Budapest and Barbara Korodi Emery of Littleton, Co., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his son, Leslie Frank Korodi of Co.
While living in Ohio he was employed by Oury Engineering and Marion Power Shovel Co. in Marion, Ohio and Masstron, Columbus, Ohio.
There will be a Graveside Service with burial to follow on Friday June 5, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. at the Marion Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Schuring. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1 to 2 P.M.
