The Marion Police Department says they arrested a man early Wednesday morning who is accused of firing a handgun into the air outside of a bar following an argument.
At 12:13am Wednesday, police responded to a report of a gun being fired outside the Time Out Bar, 810 Davids Street in Marion.
Officers say they learned that a verbal altercation had occurred inside the bar. Some of the people involved left the bar and, as they were walking across the parking lot, a man also exited the bar and fired one shot from a handgun into the air.
The suspect, Paul E. Dillinger, then fled the area on foot and was located by officers in the 700 block of Davids Street where he was taken into custody. Police say the gun was located on Dillinger at the time of his arrest.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police arrested Dillinger, 24, of Wellston, OH, on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a weapon under disability, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment, and aggravated menacing.
