From now until the end of August the Marion Area Humane Society is offering a reduced price on the adoption fee for all cats and kittens. The regular price is $75, but for this short time it is now $50.
The adoption rate includes the cost of spay/neuter, vaccinations, feline leukemia testing, worming, and flea treatment.
Melanie, the cat pictured, may or may not be available for adoption, but the humane society says they have lots of felines looking for a home.
The Marion Area Humane Society is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
