The 2011 dog tags are now on sale at the Marion County Auditor’s Office and the Marion County Dog Warden’s Office. Dog tags are $16.00 per dog, and kennel tags are $80.00. Kennel tags are only sold at the Marion County Dog Pound.
Again this year for residents' convenience, dog licenses may be purchased online at http://www.doglicenses.us/OH/Marion/. There is a surcharge associated with online purchases of $2.00 per dog and $.50 per order. This additional cost is for the company that handles the online sales. Credit cards will be accepted for online purchases only.

The Marion County Dog Pound is located at 2252 Richland Road in Marion County. Their phone number is 740-386-6150 and they are open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday, January 22 and 29 from 8:00 am to noon.
