One Injured in Marion Home Invasion

The Marion Police Department says one person was injured in an early morning home invasion on Monday, May 30, in the Fairpark area.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Jamaica Drive on Monday at 2:42 am after receiving a report of a robbery. Officers say two residents were home when two suspects forced their way into the home and held the occupants at gunpoint. During the altercation, one of the residents was injured, but police say they did not require treatment.

The two suspects fled the area following the robbery. They are described as black males with thin builds. They were wearing black clothing and bandannas. Police say they may have fled the area in a green Chevy minivan.
