Mark D. Harper age 64 of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Monday March 31, 2014 at Arlington Court Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born October 24, 1949 in Marion, Ohio to the late Wayne Harold and Dorothy E. (Sechrist) Harper.
Mark worked at Arc West Industries in Columbus, Ohio, a job he truly loved doing. He was a former member of First United Church of Christ in Marion, Ohio, and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio.
Mark is survived by a sister and long time care giver to her brother, Pamela Harper of Columbus, Ohio, and a niece, Elizabeth (Sean) Harding of Hawaii, as well as a great niece and great nephew, Maika and Maiya. Mark is also survived by his dog, Sherlock.
Funeral Services will be on Friday April 4, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dwight Hord. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Friday from 12 to 2 P.M.
