Janice L. (Drake) Pelphrey age 86 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Friday May 23, 2014 at her residence.
She was born December 14, 1927 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Tom and Margie (Mann) Skeens.
Janice retired in 1999 from Meijer. She had several Organization Affiliations; She was a Lifetime Member of the MedCenter Women’s Auxiliary, Victorian Ladies Red Hats, and the Creators Guild.
Surviving Janice are two daughters; Deborah (Richard) Thornburg and Sharon Leonard, six grandchildren; Michelle (David) Current, Patience (Donnie Vinson) Thornburg, Mary (Joseph) Stephens, Christopher (Christy) Leonard, Eric Leonard, and Michelle (Tim Tuttle) Paxton, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husbands, two sons, and one sister.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday May 28, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Bill Snyder. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 4 to 7 P.M.
