Four Marion City Council Committees will meet Tuesday evening to discuss sanitary sewer service, traffic issues, Aquatic Center, health department budget, and more.
The Streets and Sewers Committee meets at 6:00 pm to discuss providing sanitary sewer service to the new Elgin school building.
The Finance Committee meets at 6:30 pm to discuss:
- an appropriation to the Senior Center from the Senior III-B Grant Fund for the year ending December 31, 2011
- an appropriation to the Senior Center from the Senior Transportation Levy Fund for the year ending December 31, 2011
- the budgeting process concerning the Health Department
The Municipal Services, Parks and Recreation Committee meets at 6:50 pm to continue discussion on the Aquatic Center.
The Traffic Commission meets at 7:00 pm to discuss removing the “No Thru Truck Signs” on Fairground Street going east and the parking issues on Woodrow Avenue and Davis Street to the first alley.
Council committees meet on the second floor of City Hall and are open to the public.
