Police Locate, Arrest Missing Teen

Filed Under:

A missing teen and a New Jersey man were located and arrested Monday after they disappeared together early Sunday morning. 13-year-old Dawn Gattshall of West Fairground Street in Marion was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on an unruly juvenile charge. 19-year-old Buddy Bojacuick of Vineland, New Jersey, was arrested for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and interference with custody.

Police say Bojacuick met Gattshall over the internet and arrived in Marion about two weeks ago to meet the juvenile female. Prior to their arrest, Gattshall had last been seen at 2:35 am on Sunday, July 25th.

Investigators say Marion County Prosecutor Brent Yager will be presented the complete case Tuesday and formal charges are expected at that time.
