Marion Rotary Announces Foundation Scholarship Winners

The Marion Rotary Club recently announced the recipients of the annual Marion Rotary Foundation Scholarships. Each year, approximately $20,000 is offered to hard working students from all Marion area high schools to help defray their college education expenses.
This year, 12 of Marion’s best and brightest students were awarded scholarships, including:
- Kelsi Lauer from Elgin, will attend The Ohio State University
- Kayla Mohr from Elgin, will attend The Ohio State University
- Angelica Dye from River Valley, will attend Trine University
- Victoria Meadows from Ridgedale, will attend Anderson University
- Patrick Weston from Ridgedale, will attend Northwestern University
- Shelbi Turner from Marion Catholic, will attend Ohio Northern University
- Rachel Sayers from Marion Catholic, will attend Yale University
- Lauren Verity from Pleasant, will attend Capital University
- Jonathan Bibler from Pleasant, will attend Ohio University
- Kathryn Westbrook from Harding, will attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
- Kaitlin Carr from Harding, will attend Baldwin-Wallace College
- Lindsay Owens from Harding, will attend Otterbein University
