MGH Offers Grief Recovery Method Outreach Program

One of the least acknowledged and least addressed concerns in our society is grief, the normal and natural reaction to loss. Marion General Hospital Hospice is offering an outreach program to help guide those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life.

This 12-week program, the Grief Recovery Method® Outreach Program, is conducted by Joanie Worthen, RN, BSN, CHPN, bereavement coordinator and Certified Grief Recovery Method® Outreach Program specialist, and is offered at no cost, regardless of affiliation with hospice.

This 12-week program begins Tuesday, January 10, 2012, and is held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Marion General Hospital Office & Conference Center located at 278 Barks Road W., Marion.

Registration is strongly recommended as class size is limited. To register or for more information, please call (740) 383-8930.
