Swimming Lessons Starting Up at the Marion YMCA

The Marion Family YMCA will be offering a variety of Swim Lessons programming for the fall of 2011. Fall I begins Monday, September 12th. Learning to swim at the YMCA is more than just stroke development. The Y says trained, certified staff give each class participant personal attention to ensure quality and safety.

Aquatic programs are available from 6 months to adult age levels and taught in small groups with others of their own skill level. Children progress through levels after mastering all the skills in each level. They offer Parent & Child classes, Preschool & Youth Classes.

For the first time, the Marion YMCA is excited to offer an Adapted Aquatics class. These classes are specifically designed for students with special needs who need a smaller teacher to student ratio and skills that can be adapted to meet their individual needs.

Swim lessons are offered on Mondays, Thursdays or Saturdays. For further details, stop in, or call the Marion Family YMCA at 740-725-9622 or go to www.marionymca.com.
