Power Outage to Cause BMV, Title Office Closure

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and Title offices at the Marion County Building will be forced to close their doors Friday, August 24, in the afternoon. The Marion County Commissioners say an electrical transformer will be replaced Friday and that will result in no power for most of the afternoon.

Other offices in the Marion County Building will not be affected as the rest of the building regularly closes early on Fridays due to budget reductions.
