Gary Lee Henry, Sr. age 63 of Caledonia, Ohio, passed away Thursday August 23, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born October 2, 1948 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Lonnie and Betty Henry Collins, Sr.
He was married to Stephine Henry and she preceded him in death.
At one time in past years, Gary was a Police Officer in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army. He was a man who very much loved his children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three daughters and a son; Denise (Ricky) Isaak, Dava (Eric) Arauz Lindsay, Nora Henry Street and Gary Lee Henry, Jr. Twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive as well as two sisters and seven brothers; Brenda Keefer, Hilda (Shade) Mullins, Robert (Rosella) Jarvis, LeRoy (Johann) Jarvis, Paul (Debbie) Jarvis, Lonnie Jarvis, Timmy (Tammy) Jarvis, William Jarvis and Ricky (Elonda) Jarvis.
Besides his parents and wife, Gary was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Rebecca Henry, and a sister, Kathy Guysinger, and a brother, Lonnie Collins, Jr.
There will be a Memorial Service for Gary on Tuesday August 28, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M at the Salvation Army at 317 West Church St. in Marion, Ohio. Officiating the Service will be Frank DooLittle. Burial will be at a later date.
