On September 5th 2012 at approximately 3:00 pm Susan Kay Tennar left the physical world behind to meet her heavenly Father.
Susan was born October 21, 1955 to Barbara M. Tennar (deceased 2003) and Roland E. Tennar (deceased 2000).
She is survived by five siblings: Michael of New Bloomington OH, Patrick of New Bloomington OH, James (Tina) of Waldo OH, Jack (Kathy) of Tabernacle NJ and Joseph (Angela) of Marion OH, 24 nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews, and her dearest friends. Jean and Dan Fisher of Caledonia, OH., and loyal friends from Ohio and California.
Susan is remembered for her kind heart, her love of animals, passion for raising and showing of cavy’s (guinea pigs), her participation and award winning involvement with the Cavy Club of America and her outstanding artistic talents in drawing and painting. Susan resided in Ohio most of her life except for her time spent in Oxnard, California from 1989 – 1996.
Calling hours are scheduled on Sunday, September 9th, 2012 at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home from 4-7 PM. Services will be held on Monday, September, 10th, 2012 at 10:30 AM, also at the funeral home officiated by Dan Fisher. Internment will immediately follow at New Bloomington Cemetery.
