Ryan T. Dillinger, age 27, of Marion, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1985 in Marion to Dana J. and Mary (Kirk) Dillinger.
He graduated in 2003 from Ridgedale and Tri-Rivers with studies in welding. He was employed at J-Lenco in LaRue, Ohio.
Along with his parents, Ryan leaves behind his brother Rob (Laura) Dillinger of U.S. Air Force, Ellsworth, South Dakota and their soon to be born child, grandmothers, Virginia Dillinger and Kathy Schlitt-Kirk of Marion, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Jim and Peggy Kirk and Norman Dillinger.
Ryan will always be remembered as a very personable and caring person. Along with his skills in welding; Ryan enjoyed fishing and was an avid OSU fan. A lasting legacy will live on because he was an organ donor.
Friends may visit Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 4PM until 8PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30AM, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Dwayne McNew officiating. The burial will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1PM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
