John J. Sandy age 63 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 24, 1949 in Muskegon, MI., to the late Joseph and Marion (Kennedy) Sandy.
On February 11, 1989 he married Kathy A. Dailey.
John was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam, he was employed at Buckeye Ready Mix for eleven years as a truck driver.
John enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and helping anyone who needed it. His pride and joy was his family. He will be greatly missed but, will be remembered for his kindness and understanding ways. He was a great Paw Paw, father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sandy of Marion, OH., children, Michael (Kristin) Patitucci of Muskegon, MI., Amanda (John) Holsinger of Marion, OH., Magan Darling of Marion, OH., Bobby (Kerri) Dailey of Marion, OH., eight grandchildren, Jenne, Josh, John Joseph, Jordan, Lleyton, Addyson, Kyrstin and Rowynn and numerous brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 @ 3 PM at 869 Marion Cardington Rd. West, Marion, Ohio. Everyone in attendance is asked to wear the color Blue, it was John’s favorite.
