Carolyn Sue Beeney age 60 of Kingsport, Tn., passed away Sunday September 23, 2012 in Blountville, Tn.
She was born April 30, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Don and Ruby M. (Ayers) Beeney.
Carolyn lived her child life in Richwood, Ohio, then went to Winter Garden, Fla., where she spent most of her life with her parents.
In 1998 Carolyn and her mother came back to Marion prior to going to Kingsport, and lived in Marion for seven years. In that time, Carolyn attended Marca Industries for a year and a half.
Carolyn is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Phyllis (Jake) Woods of Richwood, Ohio, Ruby Patricia Crump of Blountville, Tn., Donald Joe (Del Rita) Beeney of Marion, Ohio, and Gilbert Lynn (Susan) Beeney of Winter Garden, Fla. Also surviving is an Aunt, Mrs. Thelma Ayers, and an Uncle, Clarence LeRoy Matteson, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by a nephew, Trevor Beeney, and a brother-in-law, Jeff Crump.
There will be a Graveside Service and burial for Carolyn on Friday September 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Marion Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dale Baker. The family and anyone else that is not sure where the cemetery is, will be meeting at the Boyd- Born Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. to leave in procession. Calling hours for family and friends will be Thursday September 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
