Wilma Wyone Hamilton, age 75, of Marion, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
Wilma was born August 31, 1937 to the late Amos and Jaunita (Kelley) Matney in Ironton, OH.
On August 16, 1969 she married Earl D. Hamilton who preceded her in death on February 10, 2003.
Wilma worked for Wilson Shoe Store, was a member at The Church of the Brethren, enjoyed gardening and quilting.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Terri Lynn Hamilton, of Marion; grandchildren, Malachi and Sarah Houk; sisters, Rose (Ray) Williams, of Marion, Linda Sloas, of Michigan, Brenda Johnson and Mark, of Florida, Doris K. Johnson of Marion; a brother Keith Johnson of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wilma was preceded in death by brothers, infant William and Amos “Buddy” Matney.
Friends may call Monday, October 8, 2012 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 5 until 8PM. A graveside service will be observed Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Marion Cemetery, new part.
