Marion Combatives & Fitness Inc. is taking registrations for the upcoming 2012-2013 season of Marion Mighty Might and Marion Elite Wrestling. Programs are available to kids ages 4 and up.
“If you want to succeed at the high school and collegiate level, this is where you need to be to start your wrestling career,” stated Shawn Miracle. “You receive two hours per night of high school caliber coaching at the youth level which is why our team excels above the rest.”
The local squad placed 2nd and 3rd as a team in State and National tournaments last year and two of their wrestlers, Mitchell Miracle and Hadyn Danals, were featured in the 2012 Olympic Nike commercial, “Find Your Greatness”.
Miracle said they have wrestlers from Delaware, Westerville, Dublin, Marysville, Kenton, Tiffin, Upper Sandusky and Mt. Vernon who travel up to three times a week to receive coaching and workouts with multiple state and national placers and champions.
Cost is $80 for Mighty Might (2 days per week) and $175 for Marion Elite (5 days per week). Family discounts are available and there is a $15 one time National NUWAY membership fee for the year which covers each wrestler under the national federations insurance.
Workouts run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm through April into the State and National tournaments. Miracle says this is twice as much as any youth wrestling room in the state.
