Gary E. Whitaker age 59 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, Novemeber 1, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 12, 1953 in Paintsville, Ky., to the late Paul and Addie (Davis) Whitaker.
Gary graduated from Kaplin University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and was a member of Moose Lodge # 889.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Kelly Dennis of Marion, Oh., two daughters, Christa (Bill Prosser) Whitaker of Galion, Oh., Sherri (Mike) Tinch-Greter of Galion, Oh., eleven grandchildren, two brothers, Jerry (Becky) Whitaker of Prospect, Oh., Robert (Randi) Davis of Tennessee, one sister, Dolly (Ron) Williams of Richwood, Oh.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Earl Davis.
Funeral services for Gary will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Butch Whitaker. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, November 5, 2012 from 11 – 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
