John F. Roush age 67 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Heartland of Marion.
He was born January 11, 1945 in Sidney, Ohio to Francis W. and Sally (Bonnoront) Roush.
John was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam with the 61st Inf. 5th division, was employed for forty two years at Whirlpool Corporation and was a member of Central Christian Church, Marion Elks Lodge # 32, Moose Lodge # 889 and V.F.W. # 7201.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Roush of Marion, Oh., sister, Bonnie (Dennis) Burns of Marion, Oh., brother, Thomas (Lilli) Roush of Seattle, Wa., one nephew, Jason McKinney of Marion, Oh., two great nephews, Conner and Evan McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis W. Roush.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 @ 10:30 AM at Central Christian Church, 421 Mt.Vernon Ave., with Pastor Merlyn Winters officiating. Burial Will follow at Marion Cemetery with military honors conducted by Marion County United Veterans Council. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
