Lois J. Jones, 76, of Marion

Lois J. JonesLois J. Jones age 76 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Wednesday December 5, 2012 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born June 23, 1936 in Marion to the late Earl and Stella (Miller) Jones.

On June 14, 1954 in Marion, Ohio she married Bob Jones and he survives.

Lois worked all of her life, and began as a young girl at the former Snows Racket Store in Marion. More recently she was an office coordinator for several years with Home and Health Care Concepts.

Lois was a member of the Euclid Avenue Mission Church where her husband is the minister. For many years Lois was involved in every aspect of the operation of the church with her husband.

She was always caring about others before herself, she never thought twice about lending a helping hand to those in need. She was very soft-spoken, but always made it known to others how proud she was of her family.

Her faithfulness, not only to her husband of 58 years, but also to the lord, is an example to us all.

Lois not only leaves behind her husband, but also a daughter and two sons; Esther (Matt) Beam of Marion, Ohio, John (Carol) Jones of Hope Sound Fla., and Dan (Norma) Jones of Marion, Ohio. Also, seven grandchildren; Brent, Brandon, Briann, Nathan, Aaron, Arica, and Josh, and four great-grandchildren; Nathan,II, Davina, Charity, and Christopher. A sister and two brothers survive; Helen (Bill) Redmon of Marion, Ohio, Howard (Mary) Jones of Michigan, and Vernon (Diane) Jones of Houston, Tx., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by twin sons; Ronald Jay and Donald Ray, and a brother, Ernest Jones.

There will be a Funeral Service for Lois on Monday December 10, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Euclid Avenue Mission Church. Officiating the service will be her grandson, Pastor Aaron Jones and Rev. Gary Brugger. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday December 9, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
