Sharon Elaine Holbrook, age 69, of Marion, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 6, 2012.
Sharon was born on November 30, 1943, in the state of Washington, to Carl and Irene (Klingel) Sanborn. She was a graduate from Pleasant High School.
Sharon was a gifted artist and enjoyed putting that talent on display with her oil paintings. She was also a seamstress who made clothing for her children and drapery for her home. She enjoyed the outdoors whether it be fishing, lying out in the back yard or swimming. Sharon also had a love for country music.
She will be remembered by her children: Robin Sue Johnson, Rochelle Lynn Buckey and Rhonda Elaine Holbrook; her grandchildren: Ashley Slob, Aaron Slob, Devon Ramsey, Olivia Ramsey and Michael Fittro; her siblings: Jerry Sanborn and Teresa Sanborn; also many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son Randy Lee Buckey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion, from 5PM to 8PM; Memorial services will be on Friday at the funeral home at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
