Event Hopes to Boost Breast Cancer Fundraising Effort

On Saturday, December 22, 2012 Shamrock Vineyards will hold a Holiday Family Fun Night and open house to benefit the fundraising efforts of Dr. Lori Grennan and the IBC Network Foundation.

Dr. Heather Columber-Scowden of Marion has a close friend, Dr. Lori Grennan, who has battled inflammatory breast cancer for three years. Lori, her children ages 3 and 7, and husband pray for one more Christmas together.

Inflammatory Breast Cancer is not easily detected and early diagnosis is difficult. Lori has worked to raise over $80,000 to benefit IBC research. Heather said their Christmas wish this year is to help her exceed $100,000 toward her legacy.

The event will runs from 11:00am to 8:00pm and will include:

  • Wood-fired Pizza and Wine Tasting
  • Carriage Rides 11am-1pm
  • Santa 1pm-3pm
  • Music by Matt Brent 5pm-8pm
