Glenna M. Gamble age 83 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday December 24, 2012 at the Dewolfe House in Marion.
She was born June 13, 1929 in LaRue, Ohio to the late Glen and Ethel (Kale) Born.
Glenna was retired after thirty plus years with Sears. She was also a member of Crosswood United Methodist Church of Marion, Ohio and did volunteer work at the Palace Theater, at Marion General Hospital, and at Marion Catholic High School. Glenna loved to play cards, crochet, and was an avid Buckeyes Fan. She also truly enjoyed her grandchildren.
Surviving Glenna is a daughter and a son; Ruth A. (Jim) Alderman of Marion, and Daniel L. Gamble, also of Marion as well as five grandchildren; Karen, Natalie, Angela, Aaron, and John, and six great-grandchildren. She also has a brother, Gene Born of Lima, Ohio surviving.
Besides her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Gamble.
Funeral Services will be Monday December 31, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Joe Ziraldo. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday December 30, 2012 from 4 to 6 P.M.
