The 16th ATHENA award of excellence will be presented by the Marion Women’s Business Council to a woman of distinction who has demonstrated professional leadership, community service and a passion to assist women in reaching their full leadership potential. This coming year’s recipient will be awarded the ATHENA statue at the luncheon on Monday, March 11, 2013.
A nomination form can be downloaded by logging onto the Women’s Business Council web site at www.womensbusinesscouncil.com and clicking on the ATHENA button. Download either the Word document or the PDF document and complete the form. You can also pick up a form at the Marion Area Convention & Visitors Bureau or call them to have a form emailed to you.
Completed forms should be returned by fax to 740-725-9295, by email to [email protected], or by regular mail to the Marion Area Convention & Visitors Bureau at 1713 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd., Marion, Ohio 43302.
“We have seen a number of worthy recipients since the council started presenting this prestigious award, making the selection committee’s job quite difficult,” states Diane Watson the event chair.
