Wild Child Conference to Explore Technology

Technology: The Good, the Bad, and the Wild Child is the theme for the 21st Annual Wild Child Conference being held on September 14, 2010 at TRECA.

This is a regional conference for social workers, educators, juvenile justice and health care professionals that will offer a provocative overview and analysis of social networking, cyberbullying, sexting, and internet safety.

The keynote speakers are Frankie B. Goldberg, Esq., Rick McGinnis and David Frateri, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).  After the morning keynote, ICAC will be joined by Robin Palmer, MSSA, LISW-S, Founder and Director of The Mokita Center, Inc., Sheryl Rhoades, Director of Heart of Ohio Mentoring, Jeff Cline, Major, Marion County Sheriff's Office, and Marcia Kish, Professional Development Liaison, TRECA.

Registration is $75 before September 13 and same day registration is $85.  This fee includes a continental breakfast, snacks and all conference materials, as well as continuing education units for social workers, counselors, educators and nurses.
