Leonald E. Walker age 88 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, January 18, 2013.
He was born September 19, 1924 in Johnstown, Ohio to the late Benjamin and Ruth (Simpson) Walker.
In June 1942 he married Margaret (Conn) Walker, she preceded him in death October 22, 2007.
Leonald was retired from Marion Metal after twenty years as a welder.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Walker of Caledonia, Oh., Robert Walker of Marion, Oh., Tim Walker of Marion, Oh., Jeff (Sandy) Walker of Marion, Oh., David Walker of Marion, Oh., twenty three grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, his sister, Doris (Kenneth) Mitchell of Marion, Oh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Carol Tombs, four sons, Brian, Gary, Danny and Junior Walker and his brother, Harold Walker.
Funeral Services for Leonald will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013 @ 11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Hord officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 10 – 11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
