Betty D. Brooks age 90 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Partners of Marion.
She was born July 15, 1922 in Cave City, Ky. to the late luther and Elizabeth S. (Shaw) Reynolds.
She was first married to James Erskine who preceded her in death and then married Bernard Brooks who also preceded her in death.
Betty was retired as a clerk from the Marion County Health Department. She also was a member of the Prospect St. United Methodist Church and a member of Betta Gamma Sorority.
Betty is survived by a daughter and a son; Michele (Lewis) Gorre of Rocky Point, N. Carolina and Wayne A. (Robin) Erskine of Hartford, Ct.; Daughter-in-law June Martin of Marion, Ohio, two step-daughters and one step-son. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husbands, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Robert P. Martin and a granddaughter, Jessica.
There will be a Graveside Service and burial for Betty on Saturday March 9, 2013 at 2 P.M. at the Green Camp Cemetery in Green Camp, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Pastor Nancy Goulet. There will be no calling hours.
