Our Mom, Annabelle Jolliff passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the age of 89.
She was born in Prospect, Ohio on June 26, 1923 to William and Rachael (Jordan) Buckley and was one of ten children.
Annabelle married Samuel L. Jolliff on October 12, 1946 and four children came from that union; Larry, Gary, Mike and Bill. Sadly, Sam passed away in 1992 and Larry and Mike also preceded Mom in death.
Mom and Dad were certainly not rich but us boys never did without. Mom cherished her surviving sons and their wives; Gary and Bernice and Bill and Teri. She also loved her grandchildren very much; Kyle, Matt, Ben, Michael Shane,Kevin, Jordan and Chris and also kept very close to her heart her great-grandchildren; Ethan, Riley and Autumn.
Annabelle was active in Cub Scouts, Baseball For Boys, VFW, Eagles and the Glenwood PTA and was highly devoted to her church; Grace Baptist Church. Mom gave us all a good life and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private graveside service was held at Grand Prairie Cemetery with the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home handling the arrangements for us.
