Betty Jean Burroughs, age 83, of Marion, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at Heartland of Marion.
Betty was born on July 14, 1929 to the late Michael Joseph and Myrtle Lenore (McClaskey) Pfeiffer in Marion, Oh.
She married Alfred Leo Burroughs on October 2, 1948, who survives.
She loved her Lord Jesus Christ, adored her husband, family and her Church.
In addition to Betty’s loving husband, she is survived by her children: Carol Anne (Wayne) Friday, of Tennessee, Sharon Kay (Rick) Mills, of Marion, John Steven (Aneita) Burroughs, of Cincinnati, and Paul Alan (Pam) Burroughs, of Georgia; siblings: James Pfeiffer, Mary Pfieffer and Judy Beckley; daughter-in-law, Becky Burroughs-Spencer; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alfred Leo Burroughs JR. and brothers, Michael Joseph Pfeifer and Robert Pfeiffer.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8PM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Heritage Bible Church with visiting one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
After interment, there will be a luncheon provided for family and friends in the Fellowship Hall of the Heritage Christian School.
