On April 15, 2013, Martha Jane Minard ended her earthly journey and went to be with her Savior.
She was born October 4, 1918 to Iva and Art Van Atta, founder of the Van Atta Supply Company.
Martha married Robert M. Minard on September 4, 1942, they enjoyd 62 years of marriage.
Martha was preceded in death by Robert “Bob” and her sister, Marguerite McGregor. She is survived by her son, Dean (Susan) of Westerville, Oh. and three grandsons, Matt (Cristin) of Loveland, Oh., Todd of Columbus, Oh., Adam (Sara) of Cincinnati, Oh. She was also the proud great grandmother of Mazie and Lena.
Martha was a member of the Lena Keens Circle of Trinity Baptist Church where she was a life long member. She and Bob enjoyed traveling and relaxing at their Marblehead cottage. Her other interests included reading and dancing.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 @ 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
