Betty J. Retterer age 86 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born November 2, 1926 in Marion, Ohio to the late William and Florence (Bennett) Carnell.
On January 4, 1948 she married Frank W. “Bus” Retterer, he preceded her in death on May 20, 1986.
Betty was a past member of Marion Senior Citizens Club, she enjoyed bingo, crocketing, traveling, loved her flowers, talking to friends and helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Landis of Claridon, Oh., several nieces and nephews, and special neighbors The Mantey Family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters, Helen Retterer, Maxine Cochran, Norma Lucas, Ruby Sisson, one niece and several nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2013 @ 11AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, May 5, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Marion General Hospice.
