Marion Library Holding Events Celebrating Launch of New Brown Book

infernoDan Brown, author of bestseller “Da Vinci Code,” is debuting a new book this week and Marion Public Library is hosting a live stream event and special program on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 to celebration the launch. Ohio State Marion Professor Susan Oakes will present “Dante’s World: Medieval Life & Literature” at 6:30pm.

Then at 7:30pm, those attending will join a live stream event entitled “An Evening of Codes, Symbols and Secrets” with Brown from the Lincoln Center in New York City. He will talk about his new book, “Inferno,” and cover a range of topics including science, religion, codes, movie making, book publishing and more. This will be his only public appearance in support of his new book.

Marion Public Library is located at 445 East Church Street. The events Thursday will be held in the large meeting room on the library’s second floor.
