Theodore J. “Ted” Snyder, 61, of Marion

Theodore J. “Ted” Snyder, age 61 of Marion and formerly of Delaware was taken from his family suddenly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Tuesday, July 2, 2013 on US 23 N in Delaware.

He was born on October 11, 1951 in Oakland, California to the late Robert and Joanne K. (Howard) Snyder.

A US Army Veteran, he moved to Marion in 2012. Ted worked as a mason with his father for over 30 years with Mid-Ohio Masonry before becoming a semi truck driver with Schneider National Trucking.  He was currently employed as a driver with First Fleet.

He was a fan of 60’s rock and roll music. Camping was a favorite pastime at Hidden Lakes near Mt. Gilead. During his younger years he also drag raced with his father.  Ted was at his best with a pet on his lap surrounded by his wife, daughter, and grandchildren.  Both loving and caring, he was a good strong man with a wonderful sense of humor.
