Marion Senior Center Offering “Cooling Station” and Free Fans

In light of the current sweltering temperatures and recently issued heat advisories, the Marion Senior Center will serve as a “Cooling Station” this week for any Marion County senior age 50-plus. In an effort to help the community’s seniors remain safe and cool, the Center will be open from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm each weekday this week.

The Senior Center also has a free box fan available for any Marion County senior age 50-plus as a part of LifeCare Alliance’s “Beat the Heat” program. Area seniors can pick up a fan any weekday between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm while supplies last.

The Marion Senior Center address is 2375 Harding Highway East, Marion, OH and the phone number is (740) 387-6100.
