The Marion Senior Center is hosting “Classic Cars & Classic Rock” on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Community members age 50-plus are invited to cruise in and enjoy an evening outdoor event featuring a classic car exhibition combined with music in a festival-like atmosphere in the Marion Senior Center parking lot.
Many local car enthusiasts will have a wide variety of classic cars on display. Musical entertainment will be provided by local radio station Classic Rock 95.1 WVXG throughout the entire event as part of a live remote broadcast. Food will also be available a la carte from local food trucks that evening, including sandwiches from Ruggies Rolling Restaurant and D’s Ultimate Dogs, and ice cream from Little Red Caboose.
The event is open to the public for anyone age 50+. Tickets are $3 and are available at the Senior Center located at 2375 Harding Highway E., Marion, OH 43302. Tickets will also qualify attendees for door prizes.
