A Harding High School tradition continues on May 1 and 2 when Panorama 2010 is presented in the high school cafetorium. The May 1 performance will be preceded by a Picnic at Panorama dinner.
Panorama debuted 43 years ago in 1967, and is a yearly variety showcase of many of the school’s talented vocal and instrumental students, often interwoven with some creative comedy, as well. Panorama 2010 will be presented at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, and at a 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday, May 2.
Patrons may purchase reserved table seating for Saturday, which includes the performance plus the Picnic at Panorama meal at 5:30 p.m. The meal is not available with general admission tickets. The picnic dinner includes bratwurst or hamburger, potato salad, chips, drink and dessert, and premier seating locations. Individual reserved table seats are $15, and patrons also may reserve an entire 10-person table for a reduced rate of $140. On Sunday, reserved table seats are $10, and entire tables are $90. No meal is served on Sunday.
General admission tickets for the performance are $8 for adults, and $5 for students and senior citizens. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for general admission seating on Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
For advanced purchase of both general admission and reserved table seating, community members may contact the Harding High School Music Department at 223-4710. Advanced sales are available until April 28. General admission tickets will also be available at the door.
