Paul E.B. Glad, internationally renowned insurance law attorney, appellate expert and devoted husband of Crickette Brown Glad, a native of Marion, died unexpectedly on September 8 in Palo Alto, California, of natural causes. He was 63 years old.
Mr. Glad, a graduate of Stanford University and the UCLA School of Law, founded the Dentons law firm’s San Francisco office in 1987. The Glads were married for twenty-nine years and raised their family in the San Francisco area.
Mr. Glad is survived by his mother, Irene; his wife, Crickette; a brother, Mike; and three children, Sebastian, Paloma and Santiago.
A burial service will be held at Marion Cemetery on Tuesday, September 17, at 3:00PM, followed by supper at the home of Mollie and Greg Christie at 545 Virginia Avenue. All are welcome.
The family is requesting donations be made to Stanford University Athletic Department.
