Kevin M. Kelleher, born in Marion, Ohio on October 4, 1948, was the son of Joe and Alice Kelleher (deceased), died at the age of 64 on Thursday, October 3, 2013. He retired in 2004, having been a Senior Division Quality Systems Engineer at Whirlpool.
Kevin was a 1967 graduate of Marion Catholic. He received his Associate Degree in electrical engineering technology from Marion Technical College and his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in electrical engineering technology from Franklin University.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church; the Knights of Columbus; the American Contract Bridge League; the Marion Duplicate Bridge Club; and the American Society for Quality Engineering.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Kathleen (McAndrew) Kelleher; his sons Michael (Elizabeth) Carruth; Gregory (Stacie) Carruth; 3 grandchildren; brothers John (Jean) Kelleher; Dennis (Jan) Kelleher; brother-in-law Mike Powers; five nephews and three nieces.
Donations in Kevin’s name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society (in care of St. Mary Church); Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund; or the Marion Humane Society.
Friends may call at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 5 to 7PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 with Parish Prayers at 6:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10AM with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
