Paul “Les” Grate age 69 of Green Camp, Ohio passed away at Heartland of Marion.
He was born July 2, 1944 in Meigs County, Ohio to the late Paul H. and Leron (Russell) Grate.
On October 28, 1995 he married Laura “Lolly” Grate, she preceded him in death on July 18, 2007.
Les was employed at CFS at Whirlpool for six years and was an self employed contractor for many years.
He is survived by his son, Keith Grate of Green Camp, step children, Robert (Kathy) Sullivan of Green Camp, Jeremy (Kerri) Sullivan of Prospect, Laura (Chris) Flach of Green Camp, Tammy (Gene) Hay of Green Camp, thirteen grandchildren, Paul Jr., Tara Dawn, Ashley, Kelsea, C.J., Courtney, Dezaray, Garrett, Colton, Lillian Grace, Ashley, Kade and Peyton, several great grandchildren, one brother, Terry Grate of Ky., one sister, Shirley Martin of Marion, special cousin, Roberta Grateof Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his son Paul Grate.
Funeral Services for Les will be Wednesday, October 16, 2013 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Chaplain Pamela Hart Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Green Camp Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
