John Byron Bishop, age 52, of Marion passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at 5:55 a.m. in Riverside Hospital, Columbus.
He was born on April 17, 1961 in Marion, Ohio to the late George and Betty (Weatherbee) Bishop.
He was a 1979 graduate of Pleasant High School.
John is survived by a daughter; Tracy Bishop of Findlay, Oh., a stepson; Michael Frazier of Marion, Oh., a stepdaughter; Melissa Frazier-Austin of Marion, Oh., a sister; Betty Schultz of Waldo, Oh., and a granddaughter; Aliayah Durr, along with many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Bill Middleton will officiate and burial will be at a later date. The Bishop Family will be receiving friends in the church fellowship room following the service.
