Thelma G. Myers, age 95, of Marion passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at 1:02 a.m. in the Kindred Community of Marion.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on March 10, 1918 to John and Mabel (Murphy) Snyder.
Thelma married Callie Myers in Morral, Ohio on October 23, 1938 and he preceded her in death on May 17, 1987 in Marion.
She was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church.
The lifelong homemaker and Marion resident is survived by 2 sons; Charles (Bernie) Myers of Jonesboro, Ga. & Jack (Marge) Myers of Dunedin, Fl., 3 grandchildren; Mike (Julie) Myers of Marion, Oh., Diana (Jeff) Washburn of New Albany, Oh., & Jonathan (Paige) Myers of Palm Harbor, Fl., and 4 great grandchildren; Kyle Washburn of New Albany, Oh., Meridian Myers of Palm Harbor, Fl., Noah Myers of Palm Harbor, Fl., & Mitch Myers of Marion, Oh.
Thelma was preceded in death by a sister; Elenor Snyder.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Grand Prairie Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Pastor Gene Parker will officiate.
