Reva Adams Sansom, age 82, of Martel, OH passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 2:28 p.m. at Marion General Hospital.
She was born on November 26, 1930 in Salyersville, KY to the late Hassel & Lulie (Howard) Howard.
On September 28, 1945 Reva married Leander Adams in Salyersville, Ky. and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1981 in Marion, Ohio.
She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church on Crissinger Road.
The lifelong homemaker is survived by 3 sons; Frances Arthur (Linda) Adams of Colorado Springs, Co., Fred Anthony “Effie” (Brenda) Adams of Martel, Oh., & Rickey L. (Brenda) Adams of Marion, Oh., 6 brothers; Jessie Howard of Salyersville, Ky., Hollie (Rosa) Howard of Marion, Oh., Oscar (Ramona) Howard of Nevada, Oh.,Hassel Edgar (Diane) Howard of Salyersville, Ky., Hager (Margretta) Howard of Salyersville,Ky., Russell (Janie) Howard of Delaware, Oh., 4 sisters; Leatha Wilson of Marion, Oh., Mahaley Moore of Marion, Oh., Bonnie (Troy) Hall of Delaware, Oh., & Barbara (James) LeMasters of Salyersville, Ky., 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the 1st Freewill Baptist Church on Crissinger Rd. at 1:00 p.m. Thursday with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery. Rev. Roger Fletcher will be officiating.
