Alan W. Andrews age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born August 7, 1947 in Decatur, In., to the late Alvin L. and Bertha A. (Strickler) Andrews.
On June 8, 1986 he married Deanna L. “Dee” Andrews.
Alan was retired from Kroger after 30 years, in his free time he enjoyed hunting where he shot 3 Ohio Big Bucks, his beer, golfing and bowling. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Miami Dolphins Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna L. “Dee” Andrews of Marion, Oh., his children, Julie R. Andrews of Marion, Oh., Jennifer K. (Scott) Roach of Powell, Oh., Shawn (Kerry) Wilson of Marion, Oh., Krista (Mike) Cochran of Georgetown, Ky., Mark (Brandi) Wilson of Marion, Oh., 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Bonnie (Leonard) White of Marion, Oh., Deanne Jackson of Green Camp, Oh., his brother, Jack (Marilyn) Andrews of Marion, Oh., numerous nieces and nephews and his best friends, Dave and Noah.
Visitation for Alan will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 4 – 7 PM at Victory Center Church of God, 1190 E. Fairground St. Marion, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013 @ 7PM at the church with Pastor Don Howell officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
