Ollie “Edward” WrenOllie “Edward” Wren:  “Ed” Wren, age 53, of Marion, died Friday, November 29, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH.

Ed was born on April 3, 1960 in Marion to Chuck and Evelyn Wren.

Ed was a charming person who never knew a stranger.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Ed and his wife, Laura, were the best of friends, never leaving each other’s side.  Ed was a big family man.  His children and grandchildren were among the most important things in his life.

Ed loved being involved in the community; he was a coach for Baseball for Youth and volunteered at the bingo hall.

Ed is survived by his wife, Laura; sister, Kay (Doug) Robinson; 6 children, Billy (Dorothy) Wren, Jeromy (Jennifer) Ross, Tiffany (Todd) Huffine, Jennie (Larry) Lige, Jaley Wren and Renee Ross; 15 grandchildren, Anthany, Mikey, Connor, Payton, Monica, Tyler, Trevor, Lucinda, Graie, Billy, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Sidney, Darrin, Gaige; and a niece, Evelyn Robinson; and also many family members whom he loved greatly!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Evelyn Wren; son, Charlie Wren; nephew, Michael Robinson; and several aunts and uncles.

Ed was a great person, only God knows how much he was loved and we will miss him forever.  God has received an amazing angel.

Friends may call from 5 until 7PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors where funeral services will be held at 7PM.
